Burj Khalifa is a skyscraper located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is the tallest building in the world, standing at a height of 828 meters (2,716 feet) with 163 floors. The construction of Burj Khalifa began in 2004 and was completed in 2010. The building was designed by Adrian Smith, then of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, and its construction was overseen by the development company Emaar Properties.


The building is not just a structural wonder, but also boasts a number of impressive features such as the world's highest observation deck on the 148th floor, a luxury hotel, residential apartments, offices, and various retail and dining options. Its unique design is inspired by the shape of a desert flower and the local Islamic architecture.


Burj Khalifa has become one of the most popular tourist destinations in Dubai and has won numerous awards for its innovative design and engineering. It has also served as a symbol of Dubai's rapid growth and development as a global hub for commerce, tourism, and culture
