Atomic radii of Nobel Gasses

Atomic Radii of Nobel Gasses :

In case of the noble gases, the atomic radii are expressed in terms of their van der waals radii. The other elements are expressed in terms of there co-valent radii.
Therefore, the atomic radii of the inert gas elements are quite large in comparison with the other elements in their respective period. The atomic radii increase on moving down the group from He to Rn which is due to addition of the new shells and increase in screening effect.
