Chemical kinetics
Chemical kinetics:
The branch of physical chemistry which deals with the study of the rates of chemical reaction and with the description of the mechanism by which they proceed is called chemical kinetics.
The study of chemical kinetics involves (i) the study of the rate of reaction and rate laws, (ii) the factors, such as temperature, pressure, concentration and catalyst that influence the of a reaction, and (iii) the mechanism in which a reaction takes place.
