   Disinfectant kill or prevent any growth of microorganisms harmful to human body . This disinfectant are applied to inanimate objects , such as instruments , floor , drainage system etc .

Example- Dichloromine - T is used for dressing wounds. Halozone is used for purification of drinking water.
