Commensalism is a close association between two living organisms of different species which is beneficial to one and doesn't affect the other (host)
Example1-
Remora-shark relationship where remora fish (Echenis naurates) attached to the skin of the shark by means of strong sucker disc and transported to long distance at a faster speed by sharks motive power .
- The remora also consumes food remnants cost of from the raws of the shark . Thus the remora benefits in two ways from this attachment.
Example2-
an orchid growing as an epiphyte on a mango tree gets shelter and nutrients from mango tree while the mango tree is neither be nefitted not harmed.
