About mutualism

Mutualism may be defined as a close association between two living organisms of different species which is beneficial to both the partners.
Example 1- 
                      mutualism is the association of algeie and fungi to form lichens in this association fungi provide the framework moisture and attachment sites and algal cells grow and synthesize food for both themselves and the fungi.
Example2- 
                       Mutualism interaction between the flagellate protozoan - Trichonympha and wood eating termite is very interesting
.These two species cannot live without each outher .
:- The protozoan lives only in digestive tract
of the termite and digest cellulose . The termite provides essential habitat constant environment and the besic food matteria 
for the protozoan and the protozoan provides a vital digestive process for the termite.
