About Vitamin D :-

 Vitamin D found in egg , milk , and cod liver oil. It is also produced by the action of UV light on sterols present under the skin. 
  It is insoluble in water but soluble in fats and oils . It is not affected by heating . Vitamin D consists of a group of about ten compounds . The disease like rickets and deformation of jaws and teeth develop due to deficiency.
